Engineers Without Borders  -  University of Rochester (EWB-UR) is a student-run non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the global community through providing sustainable solutions to infrastructure and engineering problems in developing and disadvantaged areas, as well as providing community outreach and raising awareness in the process. 

Founded in 2009, EWB-UR acts as an official branch of Engineers Without Borders- USA, a global organization with over 250 active chapters.
