After traveling to the Dominican Republic and realizing the impact we made, our club decided that it is time to give back to our local community throughout a project that would benefit people in the Greater Rochester Area.
Our plan is to implement a charging station with solar panels to power greenhouses, phones, fans, and electrical gardening tools and ultimately encourage clean energy in the community.

Partnership with M. K. Gandhi Institute
Our chapter is aiming to bring change to the Rochester community throughout our local project. Over the next semester, students in the local project will work with the nonprofit organization to install solar panels that will power the needs of the greenhouse, including but not limited to gardening tools, fans, heaters, and more. Efficient greenhouses will increase the yearly yield of fresh, non-GMO crops for the community.
